Château Saint George is a private, invitation-only gathering held during the Cannes Film Festival 2026. By submitting an RSVP, accepting an invitation, or entering the premises, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully.
01 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you ("Guest") and the organizers — Fraimit, acting in connection with a private rental of the estate from ARTEL AG ("Organizers"). By RSVP'ing for, attending, or in any way participating in the event ("Event"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not RSVP and do not attend.
02 Eligibility & Invitation
- The Event is strictly invitation-only and not open to the public.
- All Guests must be 21 years of age or older. Valid government-issued photo ID may be required at entry.
- Invitations are personal and non-transferable. They may not be sold, traded, or assigned without the prior written consent of the Organizers.
- The Organizers reserve the right to verify the identity of any Guest and to refuse or revoke admission at their sole discretion, with or without cause and without refund or compensation.
03 RSVP, Admission & Capacity
- Submitting an RSVP does not in itself guarantee admission. Final guest lists are curated by the Organizers, and confirmation will be issued separately.
- The Organizers may, at any time and without prior notice, modify capacity, guest lists, programming, scheduling, venues, talent, or any other aspect of the Event.
- The Event is held at a private estate. Capacity is limited; admission may be denied once capacity is reached, irrespective of prior RSVP confirmation.
- The Organizers may require Guests to pass through security screening, and may refuse entry to anyone carrying prohibited items or appearing intoxicated, hostile, or otherwise unfit to attend.
04 Photography, Filming & Media Consent
Photography, video, audio, and live-streaming will take place throughout the Event for editorial, archival, promotional, and commercial purposes.
By entering the premises, you grant the Organizers and their authorized partners an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable right and license to capture, store, edit, reproduce, broadcast, distribute, publish, and otherwise use your name, image, likeness, voice, statements, performances, and conduct, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to social media, recap films, websites, press, advertising, and promotional materials, without further notice, approval, compensation, or accounting.
You waive any right to inspect or approve any such use, and any claim arising out of it, including but not limited to claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or moral rights. If you do not consent to being recorded, you must not enter the premises.
05 Code of Conduct
Guests are expected to conduct themselves with respect, discretion, and care for the estate, its staff, its other guests, and surrounding neighbors. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal without refund:
- Harassment, discrimination, or violence of any kind.
- Illegal substances, weapons, or any conduct in violation of French law.
- Damage to the estate, its furnishings, artworks, gardens, or property of other Guests.
- Unauthorized commercial activity, solicitation, or promotion on the premises.
- Disclosure of confidential or off-the-record content shared at the Event (see Section 8).
06 Alcohol, Health & Personal Responsibility
- Alcoholic beverages may be served. Guests are solely responsible for their own consumption and conduct.
- Guests confirm that they are in good health and physically able to attend, and that they are not under any medical, legal, or other restriction that would make attendance unsafe.
- Guests are responsible for arranging their own safe transportation to and from the Event.
- The Organizers do not provide medical care. In case of emergency, local French emergency services (112) will be contacted.
07 Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
You attend the Event at your own risk. The Organizers, ARTEL AG, the estate, their respective owners, directors, employees, agents, contractors, sponsors, and partners (together, the "Released Parties") shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, injury, illness, or death arising out of or in connection with your attendance, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Without limiting the foregoing, the Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) loss of or damage to personal belongings; (ii) acts of other Guests or third parties; (iii) interruption, cancellation, or modification of the Event; (iv) travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred in connection with the Event; or (v) any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of the Released Parties to you, on any basis, shall not exceed one hundred euros (€100).
08 Confidentiality
The Event is private. Conversations, performances, business discussions, identities of fellow Guests, and any content marked or understood as off-the-record are confidential. You agree not to disclose, publish, or otherwise share such content without the express prior consent of the parties concerned. Where the Organizers designate any portion of the Event as confidential or "phones away," you agree to comply with such designation.
09 Data Protection & Privacy
The Organizers process Guest data (including name, contact information, RSVP responses, dietary or accessibility information, and any media captured at the Event) in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French law. Data is used to manage admission, communicate about the Event, and produce promotional materials as described in Section 4.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (subject to legitimate retention obligations and to media already published or distributed) by writing to events@fraimit.com.
10 Intellectual Property
All branding, logos, photographs, videos, designs, and content associated with Château Saint George, the Event, Fraimit, and ARTEL AG are the exclusive property of their respective owners. No use, reproduction, or distribution is permitted without prior written authorization.
11 Force Majeure, Cancellation & Changes
The Organizers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather, fire, illness, pandemic, governmental action, strikes, terrorism, transport disruption, or technical failure. The Organizers reserve the right to postpone, modify, relocate, or cancel the Event in whole or in part, without liability for any costs, damages, or losses incurred by Guests as a result.
12 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your conduct at the Event, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Event or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Grasse, France, save where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
14 Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with any specific written confirmations issued by the Organizers, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Organizers with respect to the Event and supersede all prior communications.
15 Updates
The Organizers may update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your attendance shall apply. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by direct notice to confirmed Guests.
